Orbital 20

After unveiling headline performances at this summer’s hottest dance festivals, as well as a UK headline tour, dance pioneers Orbital announce the release of their most well known tracks plus some new mixes.

Simply titled ‘ORBITAL 20’ the compilation celebrates 20 years of ground-breaking electronica, reworked and remixed onto 2 CD’s of generation-defining dance music, to be released on June 8th via Rhino Records.

“This compilation is the most definitive summary of our work since ‘Chime’ came out in 1989″, says Paul Hartnoll on the release of their definitive collection, “It’s a great introduction, or indeed a reminder, of the story so far…”

I know that the brothers gonna work it out, to quote The Chemical Brothers. I don’t think this compilation is the last we see and hear from the Hartnoll brother.
No, they love what they do so much and when they release their next album it will be “The Techno Bomb” mark my words.

Listening to 20 is like drinking that expensive vintage vine that you spent some extra buck on, you don’t regret it because you know were that extra money went! In this case into your ears out your heart. boom boom boom… 909, 303, 808 and Oberheim Matrix-1000 you just got to love the Hartnoll brothers.
