William Orbit – My Oracle Lives Uptown

I bought William’s new album the same minute it was released on iTunes Store, i encourage you to buy this album and support this great artist.

William was on BBC Breakfast TV April 29th talking about the new album. Karen Poole singing the vocals is William’s niece she has a nice soft voice that reminds of Beth Orton.

He actually made the video for the single Optical Illusions all by him self! The video reminds me of Water From a Vine Leaf with mirrored images. The making of this new videos production made on his Mac Laptop costed him £50! Pretty amazing what you can do with a laptop. He was humble and told that he had to learn lot’s of new things making the video.

I love William Orbit he is so humble and down to earth, one person that i would like to meet, simply a cool dude and his collaborations with Madonna, B. Spears among many more is nothing he talks to much about, It’s his work and he is professional musician and composer.

My Oracle Lives Uptown is available at iTunes store for a week or so there was apparently some kind of a technical hitch but Orbit writes that from 18th of May 2009 it will be available from all digital download sites.

But it you hurry and buy it from iTunes you get this lovely Bonus Booklet! It’s really beautiful with beautiful photos and information about this new release, so go check it out, and oh the Optical Illusions – EP is also available.

I love it already i think i had some 10 listens to it already and it grows on you, this album  is more playful. Listening to it makes me feel happy. I give this new album 8/10 Stars.
